01

Starting with what we had

Alively already ran on Shopify, built to sell wellness products. Rather than start again, I reshaped it around the app: the app came first, and the shop stayed for anyone who still wanted to browse.

As the business moved to selling to companies, the same site started speaking to employers, with one clear next step: book a demo.

02

Getting the words right

I worked with the CEO on the copy, section by section, until the message was sharp: one personalised action a day for each employee, and a programme that pays for itself for the business.

03

Matching the app

In May 2026, after we redesigned the app, I rebuilt the site in Astro and brought it in line with the app’s dark colours, so the website and the product feel like one brand.

It speaks to HR and finance leaders: one small daily action for employees, and the business case for the people who sign it off.

04

Four versions, side by side

Each version followed the product and the buyer: from selling to individuals, to selling to companies, to a site that looks and feels like the app itself.

05

How I work on it

I set the design direction and the rules, and use AI to speed up the build. My time goes on the decisions: what to say, what to leave out, and checking every page.
